These burial dresses open all the way down at the back, they are made for corpses. The one in front was 79 dollars, the price tag is still on it. That was a lot back then, in the sixties. In home economics in school, we made dresses that looked like that–but these did not open in the back, of course.
The suit on the hangers is not for burial. It probably belonged to the last person who worked in the embalming room, might have been an extra set, in case he messed up his clothes.
